I have a female friend, who I can say is my best friend. We’ve been through a whole lot together. I’m married, and she’s about to get married. They’ve had their introduction and are planning the other part of the wedding, but there’s a but… Her fiancé has gone physically abusive with her about 3 times now, of which she said it’s out of anger. I was at first scared to tell her the truth to leave the relationship because we all know advising lovers is most times not possible. So I took responsibility for my words and told her all I perceived, but she obviously didn’t want to let go. Now I’m confused. I have her mum’s contact. Should I involve her mum anonymously (my friend knows I’m the only one who knows, so she would know I did), or come straight to her mum, or should I leave them to get married? Trust me, I’ve advised her a lot, but she’s considering how long they’ve been together, which is about 6 years plus. I just want good for my friend, nothing at all.
