I am a 21-year-old girl living with my dad. My parents are separated, actually, so my mum lives in another state. They both have joint custody of us, although my dad refuses to acknowledge it and gets so worked up every time we want to visit her. I was supposed to go for NYSC this February, but these people put me in stream 2. I am now finding out that stream 2 is in April!! My mental health is at stake, guys. I would really love to do something to be financially independent, but he’s so controlling. He hasn’t given me one naira since I graduated because “I’m grown now”, yet he always wants me to stay at home. Now he picks on the slightest things and just generally tries to frustrate me. What can I do, please?
