We’ve been married for over three years, and my beautiful wife suddenly changed. She became money-conscious and almost jealous when I spent on myself. She doesn’t lack anything from jewelry to the latest gadgets. Note that I haven’t been faithful for a year now, and she found out about it. We ironed things out, and I believed we were doing okay. Now, my wife is fabricating lies to extort huge sums of money from me. She picked up her belongings and left our matrimonial home four days ago and insulted my mother, who was at the time visiting. Her family didn’t think to reach out to mine before they joined in on the insults. They bash my mother every now and then over the phone and via text for no reason. This morning, she called begging. My family has vowed to cut all ties with me if I take her back. What should I do?
