My elder sister and I don’t get along very well. She’s two years older than me. Physically, I am bigger and taller. She doesn’t like me. Recently, I got a yeast infection, which is hardly transmitted s£sexually. I know I didn’t get it from anyone because my partner and I use protection. When I noticed my discharge was chunky, I knew I had yeast. I went to a pharmacy and got prescribed drugs, including inserts. Nobody knew about the infection because what was the need to announce it? My sister saw the pack of inserts on my shelf, snapped the pack, and sent it to our mum. She told my mum to call me and shout at me. Why would you do such a thing to your sister? Why not ask what happened? She doesn’t educate herself enough; she’s naive for her age. She pokes her nose in my business constantly. When I had my appendix surgery two years ago, I got a yeast infection from excess antibiotics, but she wouldn’t understand that. Yeast can be caused by many things, and sex is not the main cause. She also body shames me, tells me my boobs are saggy, and says I’m not that fine. She is always the first to report any slight issue between us. She is immature and monitors my life too much. I have my life to live. The way she looks at me, I know she’s jealous. I got a surprise on my birthday, and her reaction was OFF. I can’t wait to graduate and be on my own. Am I overreacting, or are my feelings valid?
