My Dad Only Wants Me to Focus on School

I’m a 21-year-old studying accounting in 300 level, and I have been wanting to start a small business for a while now, a business that will get me enough to at least afford other basic necessities. I told my dad all this recently, and he asked me to only focus on school and to leave business. It’s not like I get bad grades. My grades are really good, so I don’t have any academic problems. The funny thing is, my dad is always complaining, saying that there’s no money for this and that. The money he usually gives me for feeding is barely enough, and I understand that things are really difficult, which is why I want to start a business, a perfume business. I could even still learn a skill instead of that, but he doesn’t want to give me money for any of them. I feel like he’s scared that the business will not work out and it will be a waste of money. But I don’t think it will be. It’s better to try than to just stay doing nothing. Please, how can I convince my dad to assist me? He looks like he’s already made up his mind, but if I can convince him otherwise, I would be really happy.
