I met a girl in 2018. We started dating in 2020. The mother lost her job immediately the girl gained admission. I took over the parents’ responsibilities, trained this girl from year one till final year. I was also taking care of the mum. I literally made life so easy for this girl, she never lacked anything in life. Fast forward to 2023, she started going to a church called and invited me to come one day. Just one day of attending that church, I told her how my spirit does not sit well with the church. All I saw were youths in competition, pastor preaching about giving to the pastor, this, that. I told her but she picked a quarrel with me. It got to a point the pastor told her not to visit a guy who has not married her, but she goes to the pastor’s house to cook for him. One time, she used money I gave her to sow seed in church. She almost missed exams that period. I had to pay another one again. She also went for camp in Lagos where she was abandoned. I still paid her fare back.
Meanwhile, I took this girl to my people because I wanted to settle with her. Not until she did what she did. My so-called church girlfriend was advised by her fellow church girl to be stealing from her boyfriend because she said I’m a cheerful giver. That if she doesn’t collect her own share, my money will finish while doing good. Someone I have suffered and trained with my carpenter job started stealing N100k from my account whenever we met. Until I caught her the day she signed out of school miraculously. God, I cried all my life out. I was working and still crying. I was sick for 2 weeks. This girl didn’t even feel any remorse until my aunty called and shouted at her. That was when she returned N120k out of the N800k plus she had stolen. This is my story. Fear church girls.
