My Rantandtalkz family, my boyfriend and I have been dating for 5 years. I have been enduring plenty of things, which I will complain, and he will say it’s all in my head. My boyfriend lives alone, but I can never come to his house and see it empty. My boyfriend is not the type that makes friends, but all the compound guys literally stay at his place because my guy has PS5 and some games. It got to the extent that the friends of my guy’s friends are literally sleeping over now, and it pains me that in a week, they will sleep over like 5 times, eat, and mess up. Now, my problem is each time I come over, the kitchen is always very dirty, meaning those his friends will eat and leave it there.
I will come, most times I wash or I talk, they will say they will wash it, but they won’t! Fast forward to now, I stay with my guy. The reason is that I got a very good-paying job close to my guy’s place. If I go from my mom’s place, it’s like N1800, which is very high, while my guy’s place is just N400, so that’s why I have been there. I’m schooling, so I’m planning on quitting in February! Now, my guy is making me fall out of love for him, and I don’t want to. My guy wasn’t loved at home, he’s one of those guys that had to cater for themselves at a young age, so he always likes his space. Sometimes, I will come back from work, and he acts so cold towards me.
I had to talk to him about it and asked him if he was okay with my staying or if I should go back to my mom’s place!! Note: even though me and this guy have been dating for a long time, have never stayed at his place more than a week, but due to this job, I had to. I do go back to my parent’s house on weekends. Only for this guy to tell me yes, I should go back! This is the guy who knows that I can’t go back because my mom’s house is very bad at night, so if I’m to go back, I have to quit the job. I doubt if this guy thoroughly loves me at all because he doesn’t show it. Do you know that in 5 years, we’ve barely gone out on dates? I’m so tired 😪. What should I do?
