I have been dating my boyfriend for over 3 years now, and I found out very recently that the past 7 months of my relationship with him have been a lie. It all started around mid-September, at least to my best knowledge, when I started suspecting him with a girl. I asked him who she was, and he kept telling different stories until he finally stuck to one that she was helping him with a project (there was no way I could fight that if it was the project). I knew there was more, and I was trying so hard to find out what was going on because I didn’t believe him one bit. But then again, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that he’d never do anything to hurt me, so I chilled.
But months later, it’s like the whole thing got worse, and he started acting funny; changing her name and me finding funny things in his room. Every time I asked, he’d pick a fight or act like he didn’t know what I was talking about. I got to confirm recently that he has indeed been sleeping with this girl, and she has been going to his house frequently and even using my stuff. The whole thing is pretty messy, and he has been begging me since, telling me he ended things with her already and I should give him one last chance. My head is pretty messed up, guys. Do you guys think this is forgivable?
