I have been dating this guy for three months now. He loves me so much, and I love him too. We communicate very well, and he has a good job that pays him well too. The issue now is that he doesn’t save. The money they pay him, everything finishes—not on himself, family problems here and there. I’ve spoken to him several times to have a saving plan. Every day it’s either his dad needs N30k or his mom needs N50k. He hardly even buys anything for himself. I don’t ask him for money because I have my own source of income.
The moment he manages to save something, the family comes up, and he has to sort it out as the firstborn. We plan on getting married, but I’m scared this will continue when we get married. I can’t say so much right now because they’re his parents, so it won’t look like I want him to stop taking care of his parents, but he also needs to take care of himself too.
