I met my boyfriend when I was in ND. He messaged me on Instagram, so we started vibing and chatting. We eventually started dating in 2021. The problem I have with him is that he is stingy. Imagine during my sign-out, I asked for money to buy shoes, and he said he didn’t have. There are a lot of things I have asked him, but he will say he doesn’t have. I don’t usually ask him for things even though he spends a lot on himself. He uses an iPhone 12 and a Samsung. Almost three years now we have been dating, I told him I wanted a new phone, but he didn’t change it for me. I am using an Android phone, and it’s not that he doesn’t have the money, he is just stingy. He just got a new car around September last year.
We don’t stay in the same State though. I am schooling in Oyo state, and he lives in Lagos. And I love him so much. He doesn’t chat with me too much. I like a man who is clingy and obsessed with me. He has never visited me, but I do go to his house regularly. My mum asked about who I was dating. I told her about him, and she said she didn’t like our relationship, and that I should stop whatever we have been doing. Also, he has never introduced me to any of his family. He is old enough to get married, he is 30 years old. When I asked for his siblings’ pictures, he said he didn’t have them on his phone except his cousin staying with him. And there is one thing I don’t like about him, he is somehow dirty. What should I do?
