So, this guy wants to get married to me but wants me to get pregnant first. He said it’s not for the reason I think but because he doesn’t want his village people to make me barren like his other friends, who have been married for three years without children. I’m 21 and from a very respectable family, and I can’t do that. He stays in the U.S. and is financially stable; he gives me money and all that, but I don’t know if I should go ahead with his plans. I’m not in a hurry to get married, really, and I haven’t fully figured myself out—I just finished school.
He keeps saying there’s nothing to be waiting for and that women waste their youth only to start praying to God when they get old. I think he’s trying to be manipulative and is trying to instigate what he wants in my head, keeps telling me how his exes wanted kids with him, and how I should be lucky to have someone like him. Mind you, my family is very financially stable. What should I do?
