I am 19 years old and also in my final year at the university. I met this guy in church, and we started talking. He likes me because I am very pretty and a bit chubby, but I don’t want to have anything to do with him because I just want to get done with school first. He hasn’t said he likes me yet, but it is obvious. Yesterday, I genuinely told him my age, and he was like, ‘I am very sorry, no offense, but you really need to get a man and get married at the due age because you look way older than your age; your body looks mature too.’ And I just said, ‘Offense taken, good night.’ This is something I know. I don’t apply makeup because it makes me look more mature, and I always take care of my skin. I know I look older, and pointing it out when we aren’t that close just made things worse. He also mentioned something relating to women marrying late. I am young, and looking mature is not my doing.
