What does it mean when someone you are having something with (situationship) says you are feeling entitled just because you were upset that they didn’t come to see you or spend your birthday with you? I want to know—is it wrong to want to spend your birthday with someone you love? He did not come to see me or spend the day with me, and I cried throughout my birthday.
He later asked me what was wrong on WhatsApp, and I told him how I was feeling. He said that I am feeling entitled to him and that did I also expect the people on my WhatsApp to come and see me and spend the day with me? It hurts, and I feel bad, but is that really what entitlement means?
