Is the Guy Right?

So, I’m in a 7-year relationship. Six years ago, I was actually set up by a friend. Maybe because I was still young—the cause was I was 17 years old then—a friend set me up with a guy, and I fell victim. This same friend went ahead to tell my boyfriend I cheated on him. My boyfriend confronted me. I begged him, and he said he forgave me. We moved on. I got pregnant for him, and I had a baby for him, but we have misunderstandings every time. So, he made a statement that he can’t marry me. Later on, me and one guy on my contacts started chatting. We talked, and I told the guy about my relationship status. A few weeks after, my boyfriend came back to me, so we continued our relationship.

I told the other guy that we should stop talking. (Note: this guy and I have never met each other in person.) My boyfriend went through my phone and saw the conversation between me and the guy. He got mad at me. I begged him, and he said he forgives me, but ever since then, with any slight misunderstanding, he will start calling me names like “bitch,” “olosho,” “cheater.” And if I try to talk back, he will be like, “Go and tell your friends about it and hear what they will say.” He will say no man can accept that. He is making the relationship seem like he’s helping me.
