There is this guy I have known for years, and he has been disturbing me to date him. After some months, I agreed to be his girlfriend. Everything was going smoothly because I was already in love with this guy. But then I realized I was in the wrong relationship because the guy does what I want, but he doesn’t let us meet at his house—it’s either a hotel or an apartment, which I’m not comfortable with, but it went on and on for months. Can we skip to the part that made me feel so bad? On this particular day, we linked up at our usual hotel, and we were cool and gisting.
Then he excused himself from the room, and I picked up his phone, removed it from DND, and texted him with my phone. Omo, my name popped up, and it was saved with my surname. I just weak and put the phone back as it was and kept it to myself. He came back, and I acted fine. Then boom, his phone rang, and it was “Wifey” with a baby love emoji. He didn’t pick up, and the number kept calling. Then I told him to pick up his wife’s call, and this guy told me that’s his mum calling. I was wowed. Please, who saves their mum’s number as “Wifey”? What happened to “Mum” with a love emoji or other nice names? So I have been thinking—could he have made up with his baby mama, or am I just feeling insecure?
