I have been dating this guy for more than 2 years now. We were in the same state then when we started dating. In fact, we lived close to each other so we saw each other almost every day and everything was sweet then. Fast forward to last year, I relocated to another state not too far from the state my boyfriend is in, let’s say a 2-hour drive away. To cut the story short, since I have relocated, I have not seen this guy. There was a time he came to the state I was staying in and gave me some excuses that we couldn’t see each other and I said no problem. Since then, I have been the only one bringing up the idea of seeing each other and he keeps giving different excuses, that he is going through a lot blah blah.
He does send me money, text, or call me. Sometimes I try to understand him while at times I do change it for him. The funniest part was that there was a time I begged him that I just needed to see him, he gave me terms and conditions, that if I am coming to see him, I am only going to spend two days and it won’t be his place, we will have to lodge in a hotel. Since then, if I asked him when are we seeing each other he will be like “I will do something about it” and it’s not as if he is going to work oo, he works from home oooo….. Eshanu ni (help me)! Guys, is it not what I am thinking? Or am I overthinking? I am so confused.
