Hi guys, I’m back to give you an update on my situationship about my male friend whom I like but who hasn’t asked me out officially. So yeah, we had that conversation, and I told him my mind. He told me the reason he hasn’t made a move is because our plans aren’t aligned. I plan on doing my master’s outside the country next year after my NYSC, and he doesn’t see himself living outside Nigeria. He prefers going on vacations. My mum made a statement to him when he came over that she’s just praying we leave the country. He said it’s obvious my mum really wants me to stay outside Nigeria.
My sister and dad are in the UK, my brother is in Canada, while his sister is in the UK. I sha tried convincing him that as long as I’m earning good money, Nigeria isn’t bad. I can just go and do my master’s and come back if I actually have him to come back to. Apart from him, I don’t really have anything that would hold me back. Sometimes a person is your home and your happiness. As long as you are with that person, nothing else matters. I’m into tech, coding specifically, like website and mobile software development. My work is basically remote, and there’s good money in tech. So yeah, that’s basically everything. We are just seeing how things go from here. I don’t know if my mum will be disappointed if I decide to come back to Nigeria after my master’s because of a man. Lol, it sounds funny in my head, but love is crazy sha.
