I have been friends with someone for close to five years now, got to know each other from the university, and we’re literally best friends. We’re currently in a new school environment, and I’m not comfortable with the roommates I was paired with, so I’ve been sleeping in the same room with my close friend from Uni. However, my close friend finds me staying with her irritating. It’s not like I make any trouble, or I’m the dirty type of friend, and to think I’ve done everything possible as a friend. In fact, most times, the food we eat, I always pay for it. But then, my friend has an issue with us staying together, knowing fully well I’m uncomfortable with my roommates, and I’ll find it hard to focus in such an environment. She, too, is not comfortable with them. Can you please advise me?
