I was raped by one of the young boys in my area. He’s like a brother to me, and I really trusted him. I am even 4 years older than him, and most of the time, I send him on errands and give him money. There was even a day when he was so sick and none of his family members were at home, so I had to use my own money to take him to the hospital. Since two weeks ago, he started telling me how much he loves me and became obsessed with me. I was scared, so I confided in a friend, but she said it was nothing. I told him it wouldn’t work, that I didn’t love him at all. One day, he tried to kiss me, and I slapped him. The next day, he begged me. Fast forward to one night, I went to pick something from his place because I trusted him. After getting there, I noticed he was moody, and I thought he was sick. I even asked him what was wrong, but he said nothing. As I was about to leave after picking up what I came for, he grabbed me and forced himself on me. I tried to push him, but he was too strong. I started shouting and crying. After he was done, he started crying that he didn’t know what came over him and that he was sorry… I felt so pained, and I left. I blocked him everywhere and stopped talking to him.
