Around August of 2024, I was just scrolling on Bumble, where I met a girl and fell in love. We started dating barely two weeks into knowing each other. We talked every day for two months until we decided to finally meet in person (different states, but close enough that it’s not so long-distance). Things were fine at first—we went on dates, spent time together, even though we never got sexually intimate. About eight days into us meeting, things started to go sour. She isolated herself while staying in the house with me, stopped talking, and we became strangers. After weeks of trying to understand what was happening and what went wrong—giving her space, gifts, everything—I couldn’t get an answer, so we broke up. It took me until January to get over her. Fast forward to February this year—we reconnected (big mistake), and by April, we met up again. This time around, I was careful with my affection because I didn’t want to commit and get hurt like the last time. Of course, it didn’t go well, and it ended even faster than the last time. The problem is I’ve cut all contact, and I don’t plan to ever reconnect with her again, but in the meantime, how do I move on?
