I broke up with my boyfriend 8 months ago due to a complicated misunderstanding, where I lied in some cases to save the situation. However, he reached out to me, and we went out. I sincerely asked for his forgiveness, and he accepted. Moving on, I still love him dearly, but he said he’s no longer interested in a committed relationship for now because he’s examining his life as a man due to his financial circumstances (truthfully, I noticed that his financial status has gotten worse).
I told him not to worry, that it’s not about the money for me but his love and affection, because I know he always provided everything when we were dating. Nevertheless, he said we could be friends for now and see if the friendship leads us to another relationship. I seriously want to win him back because I don’t think I can live without him. Please, guys, I need your advice. Also, we’ve been intimate too, but I feel like he’s using me to pass the time and that maybe I’m forcing myself on him.
