I’m 24, he’s 26. I met this guy in Eksu in December; he had a girlfriend and still does. When I confronted him about it, he first said she was his cousin, but later he came clean to me that she’s his girlfriend. He reassured me that he didn’t like the girl, that he’s just dating her out of pity because she helped him at his lowest, and she’s a cheat. He has spoken to her severally, and she’s not changing. He can’t break up with her because it is really complicated, but he kept reassuring me, and I was seeing evidence that the relationship wasn’t strong. When I wasn’t comfortable with her in the picture, I went to meet her physically and tell her about me and the guy’s relationship.
He flared up, broke up with me, deleted my contact, but went to apologize to the girl. I begged him, and we got back together. Until recently, that girl was threatening me that she’s going to deal with me because I’m dating her boy, and their relationship was a year old. He couldn’t do anything about it because he’s scared of the girl, but I was seeing signs on his phone that the relationship was already gone, and they were not intimate at all any longer because the girl was complaining of lack of physical touch from the guy. So recently, an issue came up because of the girl, and he broke up with me again. I begged him again, and he agreed to us dating again. Please, what do I do now? I really like him a lot.
