My man is an amazing partner. We’ve been together for a year. One concern I have is that he’s still trying to get his life together. My mumu friend keeps saying he’s still on his best behavior because he doesn’t have much and the worst in him will come out when he gets rich, but I’ve always ignored her. I’ve observed him closely, and he’s always kind to me, no matter the circumstances. He’s never raised his voice or insulted me, and he’s very attentive. He has never given me reasons to doubt him. I’ve even checked his phone a few times but found nothing suspicious. All he does is work a lot (he’s a software developer). I really hope I’m making the right decision. In the past, I was always hesitant about being with someone still trying to put their life together because I’ve heard stories about how it doesn’t work out well for women in the long run. But I love my man a lot and I hope he doesn’t change for the worse.
