I Have Become a Maid at My Sister’s House

I’m 24 years old, and I need some opinions on this situation. I gave birth in February, and I’m staying with my sister and her husband. When I gave birth, my sister was the one who paid for my hospital bill, but ever since that happened, she has stopped doing anything for me. She doesn’t even carry or play with my child. She goes to the market and buys clothes, cream, soap, and Pampers for her kids, but she won’t buy anything for my child. I’m always struggling to provide for my child, but I never say anything. I’ve insisted on going back home, but they keep telling me not yet or that they don’t have money. I’ve basically become a maid in that house. I wake up, sweep, mop, wash plates, wash clothes, feed the kids, and bathe them.

There are three of them, and with my kid, that makes four. I also have to stay with them. One of the other kids is sick and can’t feed himself. He poos and pees on his body, and he can poo like four to five times a day. I clean him, and they go out. Even to look for a job for me, they say not yet. Right now, my baby is almost six months old, but I don’t have money for baby food, and they know about it but aren’t saying anything. I’m tired because I feel stressed due to the house chores. So, I told them I want to go back home, but my sister didn’t take it well, telling me I’m ungrateful. Did I do anything wrong?
