Things are going really well with my boyfriend and I, he’s everything I’ve ever wanted. Although, we had a really big fight the other day. My boyfriend is a computer scientist and a very successful one at that, but he’s always working on one project or another. Whether it’s collaborative projects, personal projects, or company projects, you name it and he’s working on it. He’s been so busy lately and it has kind of affected us. I’m a girl who likes to call her man or likes when her man calls her, and it was that way before, but he’s been so busy lately that all his work is taking up his time. I’ve always known him to be busy, but at least he made time for me. However, he’s been having some issues with one of his projects, so he barely has time to even call me. Don’t get me wrong, he texts me all the time and gives me updates, but I just miss his voice so much. I got angry one time and decided to ignore him for a whole day so maybe he’d miss me and want to talk to me. He did miss me because he kept messaging me and I didn’t reply until he called me. I didn’t pick up the phone when he called.
I messaged him the next day and started giving him attitude again, but he got so angry at me that he started calling me childish and immature and said all sorts of things, but he didn’t insult me. I get the fact that I can be childish at times, but his anger didn’t make sense to me. He said he was worried about me and wondered why I would be ignoring him just because we hadn’t called for about a week. I just apologized to him. Now, the problem is he’s done with the project that was giving him issues and he has time for me now. I’m happy he has time for me because we’ve been on calls regularly, but I’m still in my final year in school and I’m also studying computer science. Now, he’s giving me different problems to solve and giving me codes to write. We just finished talking and he has given me another problem to solve. The thing is, I don’t know the code that will solve the question and I don’t want to ask ChatGPT because I promised him I wouldn’t cheat. But I’m tired of all these problems he’s giving me. I’m supposed to be figuring out the solution to this because he’s going to call me soon, but I haven’t even done anything. How do I tell him I’m not interested in all these problems I’m being asked to solve?
