I would love you guys to advise me as your own sister. I dated this guy for like 10 years (please note we dated this long because of school, and when we graduated, we both needed to work and cater for our families first). So, we did our introduction and court wedding last year. Where I need advice is that this guy abuses me both physically and mentally. I have been tolerating him all this while because I truly love him, but it seems he’s getting worse, and his mother always supports him because he’s the only son in his family. Recently, we had an argument that I wasn’t even aware of what happened, only for his sisters to start calling/texting that their brother is tired of me and I should leave if I want to, stuff like that.
I’m so hurt right now that I don’t even know what to type. These are people that literally make use of my things, I gift them money, and treat them like my own siblings, but they end up treating me like trash. The man I called my husband couldn’t caution them, instead, he kept fueling it. What do you advise I do? Because I don’t think I can continue with this insult anymore. Should I just divorce him and move on with my life? I have a well-paid job, and I can cater for myself.
