I have been dating this guy for a year plus now, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better man. He is smart, sweet, thoughtful, and kind. He has never given me a reason to doubt his love for me or feel unsafe, but recently I got to find out he’s a cultist. When I confronted him about it, he came clean and said it was a mistake he made in uni that he must live with. The problem is he is still an active member, and the whole thing just sort of threw me off balance. I honestly don’t know what to do. I’ve been acting up, but I don’t want to lose a good man because of a hasty decision. He claims he didn’t open up earlier because he didn’t want to scare me away. And no, I didn’t see any sign before when I found out. What do I do?
