I’m feeling terrible right now. When someone you love treats you like trash and walks out of your life, it’s devastating. Today, while I was with my girlfriend, an old female friend called. I mentioned the call but didn’t want to answer. I assured her by saying I’d drop my phone, but she insisted on checking it. I had nothing to hide and let her look. She saw a Snapchat conversation where I joked with a friend about stew, saying, “If you taste my stew, you’ll leave your boyfriend for me,” followed by laughing emojis.
That’s where the conversation ended. My girlfriend got upset and walked into the kitchen. I tried to explain, but she walked out. I was frustrated because I really did nothing and wasn’t even in a talking stage with anybody else. I yelled and sat down. She then packed her things, left, blocked me everywhere, and said she’s done with the relationship. Now I’m blocked and unsure if I should speak with her or if she was looking for an excuse to leave. What should I do?
