My man doesn’t like going out, I mean ever. We will make plans, and he will even give me money to buy whatever I need. Immediately it gets to a few hours before we leave, he will just cancel. I love this man so much, and I know he loves me. We are currently planning our white wedding; our trad was a few weeks ago. The one that hurt me the most was on my birthday. We had both planned to go out in the evening. He even got me new clothes, shoes, and a bag. But that same day on my birthday, he canceled, and we both spent the night gisting, eating, and having sex. I have talked to him about this several times, but he will say sorry, and it will happen again.
And no, he doesn’t go out with friends either. The only time he goes out is for business. He is always at home. He keeps saying he doesn’t like going out. Now, for my birthday, he is saying that he tried, all because he gave me one million naira. I’m grateful for what he did, but I keep telling him that everything is not all about money. He won’t hear. I love him, and I know he doesn’t cheat on me, and he loves me too. He just prefers to do anything he wants to do at home. He likes to order in rather than going out to eat, or I cook. How do I make him start going out with me, at least once in a while?
