Please, I would like you all to help with your advice/suggestions on this matter. There’s this immediate elder sister of mine who lacks character. There are four girls in our family, and this issue doesn’t seem to concern my other senior sisters; I am the last child. This is the problem: My sister is a 31-year-old woman who has sworn to be useless to herself and her family. She has 2 girls from different fathers, and my mother has been the one taking responsibility right from the day they were born. This sister of mine doesn’t show any responsibility as their mother. The first girl is almost nine years old, while the second one is a year old. She doesn’t want to work or learn any handwork; even to help my mother in her shop is a problem. Anywhere my mother keeps her business money, she will go there and steal it, use the money to buy smoke and drink, and start misbehaving.
Sometimes she will get high to the extent she will fall on the road and stay there until they call my mother to come and carry her. If my mother asks her about her missing money, she will start abusing her. Recently, my mom called me to say that she stole money she wanted to use to go to the market and that when she asked her, she pushed her. This made me very angry. I was about to transport them to our army so they could beat her and lock her up, but I was heavily pregnant, and my husband wasn’t around. They have asked this girl countless times about any business she can do so they can at least give her something to start up, but she refused to do anything except walk up and down the street. She has no respect for anybody; my father has tried his best. In fact, everybody has tried their best for this girl.
