I am a 25-year-old guy. I really love my girlfriend and do everything for her, but I can’t ever marry her no matter what because of some behaviors I know I can’t live with. I’ve discussed this with her several times, but she didn’t change. Some weeks ago, I did something that I even feel hurt about. I jokingly said, “Will you marry me?” and her reply was no. Though she was joking too because she always talks about marriage with me, as she said no, my inner self was like, who is ready to marry you? I felt hurt inside, but now I don’t want to waste her time anymore, and I don’t want to hurt her because she really loves me too. Please, what can I do?
