Please, I need y’all help. I can’t say I hate my dad, but he’s a very lazy man and doesn’t want to work anymore, even though my mum still works and she paid my school fees till I graduated. And now I’m home till I go for my NYSC. Since I gained admission years back and went to school, I stopped sleeping in the room—even in my mum’s room—because of mosquitoes, and that’s because there’s water around us. Sometimes I do get insecticide, but, Omo, within three days the thing go don finish, and they don’t even mind in this house. So, I do sleep in the sitting room because the fan is working better; then there are less mosquitoes. The problem I have now is, why will a man be watching TV 24/7? Because I’m tired of my dad. He’s always on his phone, looking at different ladies’ pictures on Facebook. I even caught him watching adult videos one day, and ever since then he irritates me. Every night after I take my bath, I’ll try to sleep on the chair, but this man will keep on watching the TV and won’t even switch it off till midnight, and I mostly sleep late. And it’s always affecting me because the TV will always get hot and won’t even let the fan work better.
He’s just always sleeping and eating while my mum feeds him. I wonder how this woman got married to this type of lazy man. He didn’t even get the TV; oh, my mum bought everything in this house, and if my mum is tired of feeding him and tells him to drop money, he’ll drop money sometimes, and he’ll fight her again and stop giving her money, then start buying food, which irritates me a lot. I don’t know, but I’m sorry to say I don’t want this man in our life again because I’m scared he might end up h!ting my mum if we are not around, because my elder siblings no longer stay with us anymore, and I have a younger sister in school too. And whenever my elder ones are around, he’ll start complaining to them that my mum didn’t give him food because he went broke for a period of time. Omo, for my life, I no fit marry man wey no go school and a lazy man, and I’ll open my eye well and marry a good man because I will make sure my kids won’t end up having a úseless man like my father. Please, is there anything I can do about this TV? I just want it to stop working because I can’t tamper with the wire—it’ll be obvious. Thank you.
