There is this particular guy I’ve known for years, but we are not dating. Yet, we get to have fun with each other once in a while—at least maybe twice in three months—because he doesn’t have a girlfriend. But one thing I realized about him is that he doesn’t know how to give. He’s too stingy. Not like I’m expecting more from him, ooo, before y’all start judging me! For the years I’ve known this guy, there is nothing that I ask from him that he doesn’t either promise and fail or complain about not having immediately.
Yet, I never took it personally because I have my own business too, and I’m seeing him because I’m single too. But I don’t want to date him. NOTE:He is well-to-do. So the main rant that is getting on my nerves is that last week I went to his place, and the next morning, I had something urgent to attend to. So, I left his place very early with his clothes, and I had to go back to his place because of the cloth I wore. When I got back, he wasn’t around. I took the key from where he kept it and entered. I had my bath and changed back to my clothes, but my skirt was a short one that I couldn’t wear without boxers because the one I wore was already dirty.
I opened his wardrobe to check if he had a new one. Luckily for me, he did, so I took it and wore it home. Only for this guy to call me and start shouting, “What kind of rubb!$h is that?!” This boy was shouting oooo! He asked, “Why did you carry all my things?” And I was like, “Guy, you are shouting ooo. I only took one pair of boxers, and you are raising your voice like this?” Nawa oo! I then said, “Oya, no vex. I’ll buy it back for you when I go to the market.” He even said he wants the exact boxers I took. This boy, the highest money he has ever given me since 2019, is N5k, except when he patronizes me.
I’m not seeking advice though, just ranting and letting y’all know that boys plenty pass men. I want y’all to check from your view as men and ladies: Was I wrong for taking his boxers? Was the reaction not too extra? Be nice because I’m just a girl ranting about what’s paining me.
