My boyfriend and I have been dating for over two years. We tell each other everything—or at least, I thought we did. Early last year, my boyfriend told me that he would be helping his aunt build her house because she’s not in the country to do it herself. Now, I’m finding out that the house is actually his and not his aunt’s. I found out through his sister, who accidentally spilled the secret, thinking I already knew.
I was even arguing with his sister that it wasn’t true because her brother is always complaining about money, and I often send him some. Then she told me that it’s because of the house he’s building that he doesn’t have enough funds right now. She even showed me proof of their conversation, where her brother admitted he was building his house. I feel really betrayed. If he can hide something like this, what more is he keeping from me?
