I’m 21 years old, and I’ve known this guy for six or seven years now. We dated before, but it was childish. Last year, in August, he came back saying he still loved me and wanted a mature relationship. Since I wasn’t in a relationship, I accepted him back. Things were going well at first—he even introduced me to some of his friends and family. But then he started giving me attitude. When I confronted him, he said it was because he was broke.
I tried to cheer him up, but he still treated me the same way. Eventually, I called him one night and ended the relationship just to see how he would react. To my surprise, he accepted it. I still love this guy. Yesterday, he called me, saying he misses me. I asked him if we could make things up, but he said no, that he still loves me but can’t date me again. What can I do? I still love him.
