I have gone over this over and over again, and I just needed to ask so it doesn’t seem like I’m overreacting and losing my mind. My boyfriend of almost three years asked me recently to come help him cook, and that period of time, I was busy with school and work too, so I couldn’t make it. I told him that the timing wasn’t convenient for me. It’s not like it’s a big deal because I’ll happily cook for my man, and I had valid reasons this time not to.
He didn’t say anything, but I could sense he was upset, which was quite confusing for me, but I just relaxed. It wasn’t until later on that he told me, when I asked about how the food was going, that he invited a female friend over to cook for him. Please, is this appropriate? He still doesn’t see an issue with it and is turning it on me, asking if he shouldn’t eat till I decide to come cook for him. I’m just so confused.
