He and His Mum Kept Me For What I Could Do For Them

Hi guys, so there is this boy I dated for 2 and half years. When I got to see him for the first time, I was so confused, but I loved him already (not up to someone I could say “here is my man”). Then from there I started imagining how life could be if he could help me grow. 😤 I put in my effort, then fast forward to some month, he started having money; he never prioritized me and will never celebrate my birthdays with me, not even a little gift!! 🥲 So, a month before my birthday, he left the country (mind you, he only told me about his passport— we were both looking for money so that he could travel; I never knew he had it figured out already; he still gave me N300k that he said he wanted to use for something). This guy fought me two days before traveling; all I saw was a flight video on his brother’s story!! Fast forward to some months, he came back home for one or two reasons and begged me—I forgave him again. After some month, his mum got a stroke attack and I had to stay right with him, taking care of his mother and everything.

I spent my money on her medications!! I abandoned my job just to focus on his mother, ‘cos he was the only one with her at that moment—the father is old. After all of this, this guy will never give me his money, so I thought he was still broke, that maybe the little he had was for himself. I stayed, and all that these people did was neglect me. Before his mother moved back home, we had to do the house pop and renovate the building. I had never been to his mum’s room before (he is staying with his parents), so after the renovation and all, I wasn’t able to arrange the room; back then I found his ex’s frame inside the room and I asked him, “What is the frame doing here? Why did mum hang it?” He said he don’t know and that I should remove it. I removed the frame and told him I would break it, then he said fine. So, after all the arrangement, I kept the frame at the back of his mum’s wardrobe. Fast forward to the arrival day, the mum entered the house and asked for the frame immediately after thanking me, and the son answered, “I broke it already.”

The mother shouted at me that I should go and bring it where I kept it, now, now, lmao. I ran to bring it, and she asked me to clean it; I did and went out to weep. I still had to forgive them. This is just the tip of what they did, tell me—I later started to see it in their son’s comment section that the ex is texting back again and that she had been coming to the house whenever I went to my place. I couldn’t believe my eyes. In the end, the mother told me he is a man that he knows who he loves and for what he has done for them; they know their son’s wife already, so the rest, they waste their time. I felt bad when I heard this; I never knew they kept me for what I could do for them.
