Hello everyone, please I need your unfiltered advice. Last year, I met the person I’m currently dating. We did the usual talking stage, and he said he works with a gas company. During the first month of our relationship, he was in my state. He said he’s based in Lagos, while I’m in Imo State. During that period, I had an emergency tooth extraction surgery at night. I informed him and told him the hospital name. He said he was on his way, but I couldn’t pick his call during surgery. Afterward, he was angry. The next day, he said he had returned to Lagos. Two days later, he said he was coming back and needed money for flight because his account was blocked. I sent money. Later, stories followed, and things didn’t add up. Over months, he kept pressuring me to take loans. He barely worked, stayed home, and used betting apps. I began feeling like I was being played. Please, am I a bad person? Am I being used? Is there an actual job? I need honest advice.
