I submitted my credentials around my house for the post of cashier. I was invited for an interview and I got the job. I was asked to start training for some weeks before I started working, and I was so glad that I got a new job after struggling to find one for a few months now. So, I started the job today. The owner of the company wanted to meet me. Immediately I got to his office, he asked me several questions like my age, my parents’ names, and so on. I thought he was just trying to know me better because I would be dealing with their money. Not until he got to the stage where he asked me about my lips. He asked if I actually use pink lips or if I smoke. I said I don’t do either. This man was like, if I’m sure I don’t smoke, I should kiss him. I shouted, “Sir, you want me to kiss you?” Immediately I said that he shut up for some minutes and continued his conversation. I was weak; this man asked me to stand up and catwalk for him and turn around. In my mind, I was like, “Is this man not crazy like this?” Immediately the man stood up from his chair, I opened the door and left, making sure he wouldn’t do anything bad to me. I dropped their stupid documents and left. What a story. I just feel tired. I called my boyfriend immediately after I left; he was so pained. Seriously, the rant is real; I was so embarrassed today.
