I have been following this page for about a year. I’m a guy in my late thirties with a three-year-old daughter who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder about a year ago. I noticed something wasn’t right when she was still a baby and mentioned it to her mother, but she didn’t observe it until the diagnosis came. It’s been incredibly challenging trying to get all sorts of therapy for her. As she grows, she’s exhibiting various behaviors, and it’s exhausting and overwhelming for us, though we continue to do our best.
She’s non-verbal, and we’re working on speech therapy for her. She’s three years old, so beautiful, and people don’t believe she’s autistic until they see certain behaviors. Maybe what I need is prayer. I don’t know why I’m putting this here, but if anyone can help, please reach out. Your prayers would mean a lot. Sometimes, I question God and ask, “Why me?” I’m someone who takes care of everyone around me, whether they’re family or acquaintances.
