Greetings everyone, I’m a 19-year-old university student in 300 level and currently taking a virtual assistant course. The plan is to venture fully into tech before or after my university education. But the thing is, each time I mention my decision about going into tech, people debunk it as a waste of time. They say it’s exaggerated and a waste of time. I was even advised to start a business instead. To be honest, I’m yet to start my life, and I’m yet to plan my future too. I’m the first child of my parents, and please, I’ll need your sincere advice. Am I making the right decisions? If not, are there any other career paths to follow? PS: I study English Language.
