So, I dated this guy from January 2021 to July 2023, and while dating, a lot has happened: cheating, domestic vi0lence, lying, denying me to his friends, and other girls, only to have sex with them and leave them. So, fast forward to July 2023, when I went for camp (NYSC). This guy stopped talking to me immediately I got to camp. I called, texted, and did what a girlfriend is meant to do to know what’s going on in the relationship while in camp. This guy said nothing happened, that he just wanted to be alone, and he told me to come and pack my stuff at his place when I’m back from camp, which I did after I got back, but broke up with him on my swearing-in day because he couldn’t say congratulations to me. I left camp and still texted him with my brother’s number to know what I really did to deserve that kind of treatment from him, and this guy didn’t have a genuine reason. He told my brother I got tired of the relationship, so I stopped every conversation with him.
In December 2023, this guy started texting me again, begging and crying that he was only going through school stress (he had an extra year), that’s why he stopped talking to me, that he’s sorry, I should forgive and forget. I forgave this guy in February 2024, and this guy told me not to tell anybody that we got back together. I still told my family and friends though. So, in April 2024, I was on his laptop, and I was going through his chat, and guys, I saw what really made this guy stop talking to me. He went to church and was given a fake prophecy about me, that I’m a w!tch and that he should stay away from me! I confronted him, and he didn’t deny it but said he was looking for the right time to tell me. He realized the prophecy was fake, that’s why he sought my forgiveness. I was really hurt, and I told him I was done for real this time! I left his place the next day. We still communicated and ended everything that same day I got home.
February-April 2024 is the only period I’d say this guy took me out on a proper date (twice) since we’ve been together. Y’all, this is 2025, and this guy is back, texting my friends and family, cursing and insulting everybody around me, sent me a mail cursing me because I’ve blocked him everywhere. I have reported him to his family and friends, and they all said I should keep blocking him. I’m frustrated. Please, what would you do if you were in my position? HELP MEEE.
