I met this guy on Instagram. He followed me, and I followed back. I messaged him since he followed me, and days later, we started talking. Eventually, we stopped talking for about five months (I think he unfollowed me). Later, in the new year, I got a follow from him, and I was surprised. He said he was going through a lot and had to unfollow some people. Fast forward, we started our talking stage again, and he asked me out. We started dating. He always says he doesn’t take money from girls. I would beg him to at least let me buy food for him since he is a student who is just managing. I have been helping him in my own little way because I am a student too.
Yesterday, we were chatting, and all of a sudden, he sent me something that his brother’s girlfriend wanted to buy for his brother. I asked him why he was sending me this. He didn’t say anything, so I just changed the topic and asked him if he had eaten. He said no because he was broke, and I said I was broke too. Immediately, he stopped texting back. I was confused because I said I didn’t have money for food. If I had money, I would have helped him. Mind you, he hasn’t spent a dime on me at all. All I want to know is: does he love me at all, or does he just want my small money? Why did he send me what his brother’s girlfriend is getting for him? Did he expect me to buy it for him too?
