My husband and I have been married for two years now, and we recently relocated abroad. We both work and contribute an equal percentage of our salaries toward household expenses and savings. However, my husband still expects me to do all the cooking and house maintenance on my own. He says I should schedule it in my weekly duties while he just “chips in” to help whenever he can. We don’t have kids yet, but I feel like this setup is unfair and not even equal at all. Am I overthinking it?
