Dirt Separation Among Friends

My friend and I live together but I only stay at home one day in a week, at most 48 hours. Most of the things I’m doing aren’t around our house. Most times we pack our dirts in a nylon and put it at our entrance for a day or two before disposing it in the general waste bin in the compound. Since I don’t stay at home often I don’t cook, I buy food and bring it in to eat. Few months ago she separated my takeaway plate from her dirt. She called me to go dispose my dirt, then she carried her own to the general waste bin leaving mine behind. It sounded strange to me because I’ve lived with other people and we don’t separate dirt. Yesterday I went home again but she went out and came back around 5pm. She loves to sleep on the floor instead of the bed, so when she wanted to sleep she swept the side she was going to lie on and kept the dirt at the entrance as usual. The next day she insisted I should carry the dirt because it’s my dirt.

She wasn’t around so it’s my dirt. I was really pissed. I just feel like there’s no love in the friendship because if there’s love or you don’t have something in mind against me you won’t be doing that. I asked her if she could do that if she’s at her boyfriend’s place. The most painful part is I don’t even do that to her. We share business space too and she litters the place and I clean it without feeling like I’m helping her. She comes to my boyfriend’s place and spend a week sometimes and she won’t sweep the room she sleeps for the whole week. When she leaves I’ll clean the room and wash the toilet without complaining. Do you all separate dirts in your house?
