So my boyfriend asked me what my reaction would be if I was with him and a girl came and called him “her man.” I told him I probably wouldn’t react or I’d just smile about it and let it slide at the moment, then probably talk about it later because I’d assume it’s a joke or something. I thought it was a joke, but it seems he’s serious about knowing my reaction. He said he’d be scared if I didn’t react and would like me to be dramatic about it, like claim him or try to tell the girl off. I’m not that kind of person; I hate confrontations or arguments, and I’ve never done anything like that before. I can’t fight over a man, and I told him that if something like that actually happens and the girl sees me beside him and still goes ahead to do that, then it should be up to him to correct her or do something about it.
