There is this guy who has been on my neck for a relationship for about five years now. In the space of these five years, we have been going back and forth, and he ALWAYS comes back. The truth is, my heart doesn’t really beat for him because I feel the age gap is too much (11 years), and he’s not financially buoyant enough for me to introduce him to my parents. My dad has been disturbing me to know who my boyfriend is (apparently, he has never seen me with anyone). The reason I’m confused is that this guy seems to really love me, but I’m scared he will change.
I also don’t know if my dad will like him because of his financial status and the age gap. I’m not sure about him, yet I don’t want to lose him because he is the only guy who seems serious about me. He talks about marriage and meeting my parents. You guys know how crazy it is to find someone who really wants you, but these two factors are making it hard for me to love him enough. What do you guys honestly think? Please 🥺.
