I have been skeptical about posting my story here, but I recently read about a lady who left her three-year marriage, and many people praised her for taking that bold step. Her story is very similar to mine in many ways. My husband also changed completely when I got pregnant until I gave birth. He cheated with random girls and didn’t have sex with me throughout my pregnancy and even after I gave birth until our baby was eight months old. I had to beg and do all sorts before he could. There are so many other embarrassing things I can’t even talk about. I tolerated him, kept praying, and minded my business in the house. We recently relocated to the UK. I left first, and he joined me about seven months later.
Our child is still in Nigeria. Immediately after he got here, he started his rubbish again, asking random girls out, and he hasn’t gotten a job yet. I thought he had changed because he kept calling me while in Nigeria, telling me he was horny and wanted to have sex chats. He’s having sex with me very well now, but I’m sure that’s because he hasn’t found an alternative here and the cold is too much. He’s just using me to kill konji. I’m tired of the marriage, but I’m scared of leaving without my child because he won’t let me take her. What can I do, please?
