I’m the girl who dropped a rant about overthinking a few days ago. I decided to pay him a surprise visit at least to see things for myself. I was curious and needed to know my stand. I went to his place yesterday and met a lady in the house. When I knocked, she came outside and asked if I was looking for someone, and I said yes. I called my boyfriend’s name and she asked who I was. I told her he was my boyfriend. She was shocked. She opened the door and asked me to come inside and wait for him, saying he had gone to get fuel. She even offered me water and started asking me questions about our relationship. Then my boyfriend arrived. The moment he walked in and saw me, he was too stunned to speak. That’s how she started crying. He asked her to leave, saying he would talk to her later but needed to talk to his girlfriend first. I couldn’t even utter a word. I just took my bag and left. He kept following me and begging that I give him a listening ear and that he would explain everything. I called my friend to send her address and she did,
so I spent the night at her place and returned home the next day. He wouldn’t stop calling with different numbers because I blocked all his numbers, both on WhatsApp and even blocked him on Instagram and Facebook. This morning I noticed he unfollowed all the ladies on his Instagram account and he’s left with only 243 followers. His friend forwarded some voice notes to me this morning of my boyfriend crying and begging. He said he would give me access to all his socials and his phone. He said the girl was just a fling who caught feelings for him so he didn’t know how to get rid of her. He had to play along. He told her he had a girlfriend and she said she didn’t mind because she loved him too. He said the whole affair started when we had our first fight and blocked each other. I didn’t even know what to say. At this point, I’m hurt and confused. Should I just move on or give him another chance?
