Is it really possible to love someone and not make it obvious? My friend’s boyfriend told her he loves her, but he always acts nonchalant. She constantly complains that he doesn’t show any care or affection. It was only when they were at the edge of breaking up that the guy finally opened up and said he actually loves her but he just doesn’t like making it obvious. He claimed he acts that way so she won’t take advantage of his feelings, and even said that’s how men usually behave. What’s your take on that?
